and Frederick G. Williams as counselors, and Oliver Cowdery, Joseph Smith
Sr., and Hyrum Smith as assistant counselors. Apostles Luke Johnson, Lyman
Johnson, and John F Boynton are rejected and/or "cut off". Boynton's
justification: the bank failed. Joseph: no one was authorized to say that
the bank was guaranteed. Boynton's confession is rejected. Nine members
of the high council are droppedincluding John Johnson and Martin
Harrisand replacements named. High priests not to attend seventies'
