The presidency submits
two resolutions: (1) none be ordained in the Kirtland stake without the
unanimous vote of the presidency of the church and high council in Kirtland,
the presidency of the church and high council in Zion, the Twelve, the
bishoprics in Kirtland and Zion, and the seven presidents of seventies;
and (2) none be ordained abroad without recommendation of the church and
conference they belong to. |

Bodies
to approve ordinations in Kirtland |
|
1st Resolved that no one be ordained to any office in the
Church in this stake of Zion at Kirtland without the unanimous voice of
the several bodies that constitute this quorum, who are appointed to do
church business in the name of the said Church. (Viz.) The Presidency of
the Church and Council, The twelve Apostles of the Lamb, The twelve High
Counsellors of Kirtland, The twelve Counsellors of Zion, The Bishop of
Kirtland, and his counsellors, The Bishop of Zion and his Counsellors,
and the seven Presidents of Seventies, until otherwise ordered by said
quorum. |

ordinations abroad |

2d Resolved that none be ordained in the branches of said
church abroad, unless they are recommended by the voice of the respective
branches of the church to which they belong to the general conference appointed
by the heads of the Church and from that conference receive their ordination. |
