Minutes of April 2, 1833
Frederick is to superintend the French farm purchased on March 23—hire men to work the brickyard and lease the rest. Ezra Thayer to purchase a tannery in Kirtland.

Frederick to manage brickyard   Frederick is appointed "an agent to super[in]tend" the French farm, hiring men to work in the brickyard and leasing the rest.    
    Council authorizes Ezra Thair [Thayer] to purchase Arnold Mason's tannery in Kirtland.
