President S. H. Smith opened the meeting by prayer, |

|
Take up reform |
|
and after leangthy discussion of the existing evils, and
concluded that it <was> time to take up the work of reform, |
|
|
Meet Monday |
|
unanimously agreed to adjourn to meet again in the Lords
House on Monday next at early candle-liting, |
|
|
Invite quorums |
|
and envite the different quorums to meet us, |
|
|
Prune the vine |
|
and commence the work of reforn [reform], by pruning the
vine of God in Kirtland. |
|
|
Night after night |
|
and to follow up the work night after night untill it should
be thought best to stay the hands, |
|
|
|
|
then dismissed, and dispersed. |
