¶ Hearken O ye People which Profess my name Saith the lord
your God for behold mine anger is kindled against the rebelious &
they shal know mine arm & mine indignation in the day of visitation
& of wrath uppon the nations |

[1] Hearken O ye people which profess my name, saith the Lord
your God, for behold mine anger is kindled against the rebellious, and
they shall know mine arm and mine indignation in the day of visitation

Keep commandments

& he that will not take up his cross & follow me &
keep My commandments the same shal not be saved |

behold I the Lord commandeth & he that will not obey shal
be cut of in mine own due time |

& After that have i commanded & the commandments is broken |

was given unto my servants Thomas and Ezra, and give a
new commandment unto my servant Thomas, that he shall take up his journey
speedily to the land of Missouri; |

my servant seely griffin & newal Knights in consequence of the stifneckedness
of my people which are in thompson & their rebelions |

[7] For behold I revoke the commandment which was given unto
my servants Selah and Newel in consequence of the stiffneckedness
of my people which are in Thompson: and their rebellions: |

wherefore let my servant Newal remain with them
& as manny as will Go may go that are contrite before me & be led
by him to the land which i have appointed |

& again verily i say unto you that my servant Ezra Thayer
must repent of his pride & of his selfishness & obay the former commandment
which I have given him conserning the place [upon] which he lives |

[9] And again, verily I say unto you, that my servant Ezra
must repent of his pride, and of his selfishness and obey the former commandment
which I have given him concerning the place upon which he lives; |

& <if> he will not do this as there shal be no division made upon the
land he shal be appointed still to go to the land of Missorie |

[10] And if he will do this, as there shall be no divisions made upon the

which he has paid & shal leave the place & shal be cut of out
of my church saith the lord God of hosts |

& though the heven & earth pass away these words shall not
pass away but shal be fulfilled |

& if my servant joseph must needs pay the money behold
i the lord will pay it unto him again in the land of Missorie & these of whome he shal receive may be reworded again in the land of according to that which
they do |

[13] And if my servant Joseph must needs pay the money, behold
I the Lord will pay it unto him again in the land of Missouri, that those
of whom he shall receive may be rewarded again, according to that which
they do. |

People repent of trusting yourselves |

behold thus saith the lord unto my people you have many things
to do & to repent of |

[15] Behold thus saith the Lord unto my people, you have many things
to do, and to repent of: |

|
for behold your sins have come up unto me &
are not pardoned because you seek to counsil in your own ways |
|
[16] For behold your sins have come up unto me, and
are not pardoned, because you seek to counsel in your own ways. |

& your hearts are not satisfied |

[17] And your hearts are not satisfied. |

& ye obey not the truth but have
pleasure in unrighteousness |

16 |
woe unto ye rich men that will not give your substance to the Poor
for your riches will canker your souls & this shal be your lamentation
in the day of visitation & of indignation judgement & indignation |
|
[19] Wo unto you rich men, that will not give your substance to the poor,
for your riches will canker your souls! and this shall be your lamentation
in the day of visitation, and of judgment, and of indignation: |
|
|
|
|
the harvest
is past the summer is ended & my soul is not saved |
|
[20] The harvest
is past, the summer is ended, and my soul is not saved! |

Poor are greedy lazy |
17 |
woe unto you poor men whose hearts are not broken whose spirits are
not contrite & whose bellies are not satisfied & whose hands are
{2} not satisfied <stayed> from laying hold uppon other mens goods whose eyes are full
of greediness who will not labour with their own hands |
|
[21] Wo unto you poor men whose hearts are not broken, whose spirits are
not contrite, and whose bellies are not satisfied, and whose hands are
not stayed from laying hold upon other men's goods, whose eyes are full
of greediness,who will not labor with their own hands! |

Blessed pure in heart |
18 |
but blessed are the poor who are poor in heart whose hearts are broken
And whose spirits are contrite for they shal see the kingdom of god Comeing
in power & great Glory unto their deliverance |
|
[22] But blessed are the poor, who are pure in heart, whose hearts are broken,
and whose spirits are contrite, for they shall see the kingdom of God coming
in power and great glory unto their deliverance: |
|
|
|
|
for the fatness of the
earth shal be theirs |
|

Lord recompenses |
19 |
for behold the lord shal come And his reword shal be with him
& he shal reward everyone & the poor shal rejoice |

[23 For behold the Lord shall come, and his recompense shall be with him,
and he shall reward every man, and the poor shall rejoice: |

& their generations shal inherit the earth from generation to generation
forever & ever |
