Minutes of December 15, 1832
A member returns his priesthood license, is silenced, then withdraws from the church to save the high council the trouble of excommunicating him later.

    The council examines Thomas Mils and finds that he teaches:   Mils: Last name is "almost indecipherable."
Teacher of false doctrine withdraws rather than being excommunicated   contrary doctrine to the revelations & prophesied things contrary to scripture. We therefore received his license & silenced him and advised him if he would still persist in his foolish doctrine to withdraw from the Church & save us the trouble of excommunicating him from the same, which he did.
