| The Tabernacle has a seating capacity of 8,000 people, and was built to accommodate the great gathers of the Mormon people at their annual and semi-annual conferences. The acoustic properties are exceptionally fine and the ticking of an ordinary clock being distinctly audible in all parts. Visitors are welcome to attend service, provided they remain until close of same, lasting about two hours. Regular services are held on the Sabbath day at 2 o'clock. |
