No
one should fail to visit this famous resort and take a private Bath or Plunge
in the Bog Pool. Aside from this luxury an intelligent system of Bathing
in this water, permanently cures Rheumatic, Paralytic and Skin Diseases,
Catarrh, Derangement of the Kidneys and Bladder, etc. [This would be where Abravanel Hall now stands. Does anyone know anything about the Natatorium or have an image of it?] The Sorenson & Carlquist ad is for a furniture and upholstery company that "commenced business near the council House corner [sw corner of S. Temple and Main] in 1881, and was burned out by the great fire and explosion of 1883, after which they removed one block nearer the business centre of town, where now can be found next door North of the CO-OP. The John Daynes ad is for the New Home light running sweing machine. |
