| This beautiful structure was built by the city and County combined. It is two-hundred and seventy two feet by one-hundred and fifty-six feet, Central Tower 250 feet. Built of stone and brick, fire-proof, and cost nearly eight hundred thousand dollars. It occupies a ten acre block. The grounds are beautifully parked and at night are lighted by electricity. it is a building of which any city could feel justly proud. |
