| Way up among the tall mountain pines, in Emigration Canyon,
twelve miles from Salt Lake City, is located Pinecrest Inn, a beautiful,
new modern hotel, under the direct management of A. Fred Wey. Scenic Emigration Canyon forms a part of early Utah History. The ill-fated Donner Party of ‘46, Brigham Young and his Company of ‘47. The gold crazed 40 [‘49] miners, and the Mormon hand cart brigades of ‘56, made it historic by following the Indian trails through into Salt Lake Valley. |
