his sons Uzziel and Lyman, and son-in-law John E. Page are to move their
families to Kirtland, then "go forth to preach the gospel." Sidney Rigdon
ordains Brother Stevens. |

for Essex Co. church |
|
Council decides that J. H. and J. W. Tippits should "go to
Missouri this fall to purchase land for the Church in Essex, N.Y. according
to previous appointment by the voice of said Church." |

This is over a year after the brothers arrive in
