Minutes of June 6, 1833
Orson Hyde is selected to be clerk for the presidency of the High Priesthood. The construction committee for the House of the Lord is directed to begin procuring materials immediately.
Date   June 6, 1833   Kirtland council, 21.
Location   School room, Kirtland, Ohio.    
Description   This day called a conference of High priests

Open   Joseph opens with prayer.   .
Orson Hyde clerk to presidency   Orson Hyde being nominated a Clerk for the presidency of the High priesthood, seconded and duly chosen by vote, and took his seat to act.—    
Construction of the House of the Lord to begin immediately   By a vote of "the conference," Reynolds Cahoon, Jared Carter, and Hyrum Smith are named the construction committee for "the building of the House of the Lord." They are directed to "proceed immediately to commence building the House or obtaining materials stone Brick Lumber &c."
