Elders to go forth The duty of the Elders was declared by the Spirit to go forth and warn the inhabitants of the earth of the things known in the Church of Christ in these last days.  
Joseph Coe, W. W. Phelps ordained Br. Joseph Coe & William W. Phelps were ordained to the High Priesthood under the hand of Br. Joseph Smith jr.
